While waiting for the latest entries, nearly 250 athletes have confirmed participation in the European Cup cross-country skiing to be held in Forni di Sopra 12 to 14 February 2010 with the organization of the S. S. Fornes. In addition to the Italian national team (B) adn 20 other Italian Teams, are waiting 12 foreign states well: Austria, Germany, Canada, United States, Spain, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Switzerland , Bulgaria, France, Croatia, Slovenia. The favorite for the Italian national team seems to be Dietmar Noeckler (Fiamme Oro) which has won twice in Europe Cup circuit
Among young people, great expectations for the candidate of our Regional Committee Claudio Muller that in recent races has collected remarkable results. Friuli Venezia Giulia region will be represented by four Teams: Edelweiss, Weissenfels, chamois and Timau-Cleulis.
The first races on the track cut of Forni di Sopra will begin Friday morning with qualifying Sprint classical technique, whose spectacular final stages will take place at 12:30.
