The winter in Forni di Sopra, one of the 5 areas run by Promotur, always offers a high level of quality and quantity of snow. This resort offers a wide range of runs divided in two areas. One is located at the bottom of the valley and is dedicated to beginners with chairlifts, skilifts, tapis roulant, runs for easy races, play area on the snow Fantasy Snow Park runs forsleds and inner tubes, cosy bar withsun parlour. The other, the zone of Varmost, will take you to the top of Crusicalas at 2100 m. the highest ski run in the region, and as you decend from the top you will enjoy a view that will take your breath away , of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the Dolomiti Friulane, on the long ski runs that always have good snow. There are 15 km of ski runs and the snow id guarateed due to our many snow making machines progammed snow. Descending from the top we find the Self Service Restaurant "Varmost " at 1750 m. and the refuge" Baita Som Picol" at 1400 m. two wonderful resting points with solariums and great food which are open also in the summer


In addition to the downhill runs, Forni di Sopra also offers a splendidcross country track of 15 km., which winds through a delightful vision of forest and meadow. The ski run also includes a ring that is illuminated at night which has artificial snow available. It is also possible to ice skate on the ice rink .


During the summer season we can also enjoy the thrill of the races of Grass skiing , In 1998 the World Junior Championships were held in Forni di Sopra and in 2001 the World Championships and from 2004 its a annual event World Cup.
Varmost in the summer season is always a hit for the availablity of the chairlift to take tourists to either Self Service Varmost and thealpine pastures of the malga varmost of take off with a paraglider or buy some special products typical of the malga, or take a hike on one of the super "Around the Malgas"

Both the winter and summer activities are well organized with the excursions by the Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti Friulane , Instructive circuits for all ages ski touring, ski mountaineering snow shoes, ice climbing .
The large sporting complex offers a gymnasium for all the various indoor activities including wall climbing, a 25 meter swimming pool, sauna, massage salon, indoor tennis, martial arts room, ping pong, and weight room with tecnogym equipment
