Comune di Forni di Sopra - Sito ufficiale

Every year a group of church-going people from Forni participate in a pilgrimage towards the Sanctuary of Maria Luggau in Austria. The trip takes 6 days, there and back, and passes through Sauris and Sappada picking up 100 participants. The 2004 edition was the 200th edition. The sporting Group Stella Alpina organizes a sporting version of this pilgrimage, a long race no-stop of 64 km with 2700 meters of difference in altitude going up.
